Science Fair TG 1

(Trying a new idea by writing a TG short fiction/caption series using kisekae to make up for my terrible artistic skills. It should be 15 images long. Once its done, if people like it or I enjoy doing it, I will likely do more.)

Emily compulsively straighten her skirt as she stared toward the stage feeling her hart race increasing with every second she had to wait before presenting the fruits of her almost year long labor. Next to her, Jason, the boy who had been assigned to her as a partner for the class project, seemed far more relaxed. Not that he had much to worry about when it came to this project, to be fair. When he had found at the start of the semester that his partner had already been working on their project long in advance and would only need him for the presentation itself he had promptly gone off to enjoy the free A he assumed he would be getting.

Emily had been more then a little irritated by her partners attitude towered the project to say the least. While she had no doubt that he would be next to useless assisting with the sort of work that she had been doing for the last few months of her experiment, the fact that he did not even try to aid her, seeing her genius as nothing more then a free ticket to a passing grade irked her to no end. Still, that irritation had given her and idea which she believed would turn their presentation into something quite memorable indeed...

As the two took the stage Jason slipped the headphones which Emily had prepared for him over his ears. A polite round of applause filled the room as the pair smiled, nodding to the assembled mass of their fellow students. As per their plan, Jason then took a small step forward and allowed Emily to begin her speech.

Thanks to the head phones, Emily’s speech was largely lost on Jason, so he had only the confused and curious faces of the crowed to go by to judge how well she was doing. Given how skeptical many of the crowed seemed to be, he began to grow nervous that the colleges resident super nerd might not be all she was cracked up to be.

He had just started to contemplate slipping off stage to avoid being dragged down with Emily’s obvious failure when he began to feel a little dizzy…
