Science Fair TG 13

“Well… your going to laugh at this…” Emily chuckled nervously as Jasmin's face grew ashen. “Remember how it took me a year to make that SOR… and how you didn’t help me at all so I had to take a few short cuts in the design?”

Jasmines mind raced back to the weeks he had spent blowing off Emily’s requests to come over and help. At the time, they had seemed like boring waste of time, but now… “Yes…” He heard his high, feminine voice tremble.

“Well, one thing I had to cut to get it done on time was… anything that does not just change a man of about your… old build into a woman.” She giggled, feeling even more uncomfortable then ever.

“What!?” Jasmin screamed, feeling his knees start to buckle. “B-but you can make a new one right? With the money they gave you, you can just make a new one that will change me back, right?”

Emily rubbed the back of her head. “Well… maybe, but I am under contract for several years now! To undo what was done would take a whole new SOR designed to work with you as you are now and it would be really, REALLY hard to justify that till after I finish all the work on just making ones that will work for emergency medical procedures like they want…” She coughed. “So… it would likely not be done for about a decade at the soonest-“

“A DECADE!” Jasmine screamed, slumping to the ground.

“Unless!” Emily interrupted, holding out a hand. “I really worked hard and moved a few funds around for that project. Then it might only be a couple of years. Three or four at most.”

Jasmine looked crest fallen, but knew he had no other choice. “Okay, I guess that works.”

“Well…” Emily began to walk back towered the government car she had prepared in advance to take her away after this meeting. “Its going to take ALLOT of hard work and ALLOT of… less then legal loop hole exploiting on my part, so if I do this you need to do something for me.”

“Anything!” Jasmine blurted, seeing his one chance at returning starting to slip away. “Whatever you want, I will do it!”
